Patricia is an established leader, specialising in producing cultural projects, fundraising, business planning, organisational change and developing networks and connections for both individuals and organisations.

Over the past 30 years Patricia has worked in senior positions in local government, at Arts Council England and in a nationally funded arts organisation before setting up both the Collective Impact Agency CIC to develop systems leadership across the voluntary and social sector, and her own company, Patricia Stead & Associates.

Nationally, Patricia has worked as both National Director, Planning & Performance and National Director, Stakeholder Partnerships for Arts Council England’s Head Office and regionally as Director, External Relations & Communications for Arts Council North East. She was Head of Culture at Hammersmith & Fulham Council for 9 years and Executive Producer at Dance City, the National Dance Agency for the North East of England, for 7 years. Patricia has worked across the culture sector as an international festival programmer, Director of a national youth arts development agency, managed a community arts and crafts centre in Australia, was international Press and PR coordinator for a Paris-based physical theatre company and has written 5 and 10 year strategies for several cultural organisations including the European Youth Circus Network. Within the voluntary and social sector Patricia created a national network for social leaders as Engagement Manager for the Clore Social Leadership Programme.

Patricia is an exceptional networker, creating opportunities for people to connect, explore and realise their potential.  She is a fellow of the prestigious Clore Social Leadership Programme, has extensive mentoring experience, is a qualified coach and Chairs a number of local community organisations.
